Each day of the tournament we will count the two (2) lowest scores of your four-man team. At the end of the tournament the team with the lowest cumulative score will win the total pool.

If one or two members of a team miss the cut the team can continue with its remaining players. If three members of a team miss the cut that team is out of the competition. Ties will be broken as follows: Single lowest individual one-day score from a team. If still tied, two lowest individual one-day scores from a team. If still tied, three lowest individual one-day scores from a team. If still tied, continue as above with four, then five, then six, etc., until a winner is determined.

If two or more individuals pick the same four-man team they will share equally in any winnings.

The winners will be paid by the club based on the number of entries. Individual entry fees will be collected by the club at the conclusion of the contest.

2026 Matchplay Championship

The Matchplay Championship is a multi-week matchplay tournament played at full handicap.

All players who enter the tournament will be seeded by their current handicap index. Our USGA tournament software will divide the field into two brackets for the matches.

IMPORTANT: Players are responsible for scheduling their own matches... which may be played at any course on any day that suits the two competitors!

First Round Matches: If there are less than 32 members who register for this event there will be a play-in round to reduce the field to 16. Play-in round matches must be completed by Sunday, August 23.

Second Round Matches: must be completed by Sunday, Sept 6 (Field of 16 is reduced to 8)

Third Round Matches: must be completed by Sunday, Sept 13 (Field of 8 is reduced to 4)

Semi-Final Matches should be completed by Sunday, Sept 20

Final Match should be completed by Sunday, Sept 27 (or suitable dates agreeable to the competitors).

• All final-four competitors will receive a personalized trophy to recognize their achievement.
• The championship runner-up will receive a $100 prize
• The Matchplay Champion will receive a $200 prize

Tournament Entry Fee: $15 per player
